Instruction in motion
T-Mobile Employee Content
T-Mobile relied on high-quality instructional design to relay information to frontline employees. That often involved animated snippets that highlighted the most important selling points of a given product or service launch.
This video was built as the first of a series. I storyboarded a template for our partners at Apple to feature their monthly learning initiatives for T-Mobile employees. When storyboards were approved, I built out the first motion graphic to be used as the benchmark for the series, and Creative Directed all subsequent videos.
I provided detailed storyboards with necessary markups to get early buy-in from all SMEs and stakeholders.
Crystal clear storyboards
Collaborative energy
I collaborated with instructional designers and SMEs to ensure all the information was correct, concise, and engaging.
Stakeholders were given an opportunity to respond to both the storyboard stage, and initial proof of concept animations.
Presentation and buy-in
For all recurring events and launches, I used approved videos to create templates, improving future turnaround times and final build quality.
Template creation
These videos were built as part of the large-scale T-Satellite commercial launch, in partnership with Starlink. As such, they had to align to pre-approved co-branding guidelines, and live alongside coordinating communication graphics.
I storyboarded, pitched, and animated the initial video and coordinating graphics, and Creative Directed the additional videos that walked employees through the key selling points of T-Satellite for customers.
❋
Most sales initiatives and promotions were accompanied with a short slow-paced animation that was aired in call centers and in the back room of stores. These helped us keep all employees fully current in a constantly shifting environment.
